LONDON (Reuters) – Amir Hossein Zamaninia was officially appointed on Saturday as Iran’s OPEC governor, replacing Hossein Kazempour Ardebili who died in May, an Iranian oil official told Reuters.
Deputy Oil Minister Zamaninia was named in May as Iran’s ad-hoc OPEC governor. Ardebili died on May 16 of a brain haemorrhage two weeks after falling into a coma.
