(Reuters) – India’s currency, debt and equities markets are closed on Monday, Sept. 2, for a public holiday.
Financial markets will resume trading on Tuesday, Sept. 3.
The benchmark BSE index closed up 0.71% at 37,332.79 on Friday, while the broader NSE index ended 0.68% higher at 11,023.25.
The 10-year benchmark bond yield ended at 6.5619%, while the rupee settled at 71.410 to the dollar.
