TOKYO (Reuters) – Japan’s parliament approved on Friday a record $300 billion second extra budget to fund a stimulus package aimed at cushioning the economic blow from the coronavirus pandemic.
The second supplementary budget for the current fiscal year that began in April, worth 31.9 trillion yen ($299 billion), will fund part of a $1.1 trillion relief package the government unveiled last month.
