FRANKFURT (Reuters) – Thyssenkrupp on Monday said it was in talks to terminate the contract of the chief executive of its steel division, less than three weeks after a plan to merge the unit with Tata Steel European division failed.
Thyssenkrupp said the talks with Steel Europe Chief Executive Andreas Goss, who has led the unit since 2014, had not been concluded yet.
The news about Goss’s potential departure was first reported by the WAZ newspaper.
